We offer easy to understand and convenient shipping cost. Our shipping cost are based on your order total and are as follows.

Your item will get to you quickly, so you can begin to pamper yourself with the best sea salt products nature has to offer. Unfortunately, due to shipping agreements we can only extend our shipping offer to states in the U.S.A. Please contact us if you need shipping quotes to other locations.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery Estimates are based on two factors: order processing time and time in transit. In Stock items will be shipped once the item is located, your payment is approved, and the receiving address is verified. For most orders, this process begins once your online order has been submitted. Depending on the time you place your order, the order process might not start until the following business day. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding United States federal holidays. During peak periods you may experience longer than average order processing time.

Shipping & Handling Rules & Restrictions

The Midwest Sea Salt Company will determine the most efficient method of delivery based on your shipping address. In most cases we will use USPS or UPS ground to deliver your packages.

Shipping & handling will be charged at the time of shipment. If your order includes a pre-order or backordered item, shipping & handling charges will be assessed for the entire order at the time of the initial shipment. You will not be charged for additional shipping if two shipments need to be made due to an out of stock item.

Certain beauty products are not eligible to be shipped to PO Boxes, APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or US Territories.

Using a freight forwarder to ship items internationally may result in issues not covered by The Midwest Sea Salt Company. If you use a package forwarding service to ship your order outside of the United States, then we consider their U.S. address to be the destination for your order. Our responsibility for loss or damage to your order ends once it reaches that address safely. We will not provide a replacement or refund for any items or packages delivered to you from a freight forwarder. You should refuse any items or packages that arrive damaged and instruct freight forwarders to do the same. Any items lost after delivery to you or the freight forwarder will be your responsibility.

Guarantee of Delivery:

The Midwest Sea Salt Company makes every effort to ensure delivery to the address provided on your order and will attempt to verify delivery information in the event that an error is found. The Midwest Sea Salt Company is not responsible for replacement of orders as a result of failed delivery attempts, misplaced packages, incorrect addresses, weather, loss by carrier or loss after delivery.

If an item is shipped to an incorrect address due to you entering the wrong address upon checkout, we will not be responsible for replacing or refunding this order unless it is returned to us. If the order is returned to us, you will be responsible for the shipping cost to ship the products to the correct address. If you would like a refund and not a re-shipment the order total will be refunded minus the shipping cost.

Refunds & Exchanges

7 Day Return Warranty:

1. Midwest Sea Salt Company’s Responsibility:

  • If our company is responsible for the issue, we will allow a return to our warehouse for a refund and or an exchange.
  • Once we receive the item, we will refund the original product price or send back a replacement.
  • Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. 

2. Customers Responsibility:

  • If the customer has ordered an incorrect product or simply wants to exchange the item, we can allow a return too.
  • Shipping charges for all returns and exchanges must be prepaid and insured by you.

ADDRESS VERIFICATION:
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the addresses they provide. The Midwest Sea Salt Company, Inc. will not be held liable for any returned or forwarded package, failed deliveries, and automatic address corrections, as well as any fee or cost associated with these that is a result of an incorrect address.

RETURN POLICY:
In the unlikely event that a return is requested, returns must include all original items undamaged and in resalable condition within 15 days from the date of purchase. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Additional Notes about Warranty:
All returns must first be approved by our customer service team;

All returned items must come in their original packaging.
If the customer requests a refund, we will refund the original product cost upon receiving the returned item.
All shipping fees to return the item, and the original shipping fees, are non-refundable.

Exchange Policy:

We personally inspect each item prior to shipping. If a product arrives damaged, please contact us for an exchange request and our return mailing address. We will be happy to exchange merchandise that was damaged in shipping or is defective, with a similarly priced product. Exchanges must be reported/initiated within 48 hours of receipt of your order and completed/returned within 5 business days (based on tracking number) of receipt of your order. The products must be in their original packaging and unused. We will not refund shipping charges unless the exchange was due to our error. If the product arrived correctly and you just do not want it anymore you can still return it but you will be responsible for return shipping. Please note that 1oz fragrance oil samples cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. These are merely for testing purposes and are made-to-order. This specific category of products does not qualify for returns or exchanges.

Claims of Damage:

Should you receive an order that has been damaged or opened, (a) immediately contact the carrier and request that the carrier notes the damage on delivery. (b) Save (Do not discard) the original packaging materials (box, paper, bubble wrap etc.). (c) Contact The Midwest Sea Salt Company so that we can immediately process your claim.
